GVM up to 8,000 kg
Authorises the holder to drive a rigid vehicle with a GVM exceeding 4,500 kg but not exceeding 8,000 kg, and any vehicle a car licence authorises.
GVM over 8,000 kg — 2 axles
Authorises the holder to drive a 2-axle rigid vehicle with a GVM exceeding 8,000 kg, including any vehicle an LR licence authorises.
Rigid vehicle with 3 or more axles
Authorises the holder to drive a rigid vehicle with 3 or more axles, or an articulated bus, and any vehicle an MR licence authorises.
Semi-trailer and B-double combinations
Authorises the holder to drive a semi-trailer, B-double or road train combination and any vehicle an HR licence authorises.
A structured behaviour change and education program for drivers who have had their licence disqualified or suspended due to alcohol or drug-related driving offences. Back on Track supports participants to understand the impact of alcohol and drug use on driving, develop safer decision-making and meet the requirements for licence reinstatement.
Back on Track is designed for drivers who have been disqualified from driving due to drink driving or drug driving offences and are required to complete an approved behaviour change program as part of their licence reinstatement process.
Back on Track is an evidence-informed program that addresses the relationship between alcohol and other drug use and driving behaviour, with a practical focus on behaviour change and safer decision-making.
Delivery options
Back on Track can be delivered to individuals, small groups or in partnership with organisations, NGOs, justice agencies and community services across the NT. Pricing is quote-based depending on participant numbers, delivery location and program requirements.
